One child, one teacher, one person can change the world.

LEF’s 2009-2010 Mini Grant Application Deadline is Friday, March 6th, 2009.

Lafayette Education Foundation is offering the 2009-2010 Grant Application to public schools of Lafayette Parish. LEF offers two types of Grant Awards to Lafayette Parish Public Schools. The Classroom Grant impacts a single class and has a maximum budget of $1000. The School Impact Grant can impact a grade level, subject level or an entire school and has a maximum budget of $5000. Most grants are written for projects that span the entire year and often the materials can be used for consecutive years. The LEF grant process is an extremely effective method of putting academic dollars for children directly into the classrooms. The application includes specific guidelines and requirements for the LEF Grant Cycle. The deadline to apply for an LEF Grant is March 6, 2009. Lafayette Education Foundation is a United Way partner agency.
